Plimmiri beach (also written as Plimiri beach) is on the southeast side of the island. This area is not heavily developed yet and the beach areas around here are quite pristine. The water is absolutely crystal clear but this is really more of one of these place to 'get away from it all'. 

There are a few sunbeds for rent and some umbrellas too, but you are pretty much on your own here. There is a taverna or two near the beach for snacks and meals.

The beach is fantastic, sand in most places, but pebbles in others. The beach is lined with trees with lots of little shady places. This side of the island has great windsurfing. There are some great villas in the area that you can hire for a week or more.
