Rhodes has a world class golf course at Afandou which is an 18-hole, par-73 course. It was designed by the famous course designer Donald Harradine from the United Kingdom. The course itself is 6800 yards and very well maintained. Both amateurs and professionals will find this course challenging with a variety of trees, greens and fairways that change throughout the course.
All around the club are resorts which offer holiday packages which include golfing, entertainment and all kinds of island tours. When you’re ready to explore the charming village of Afandou is right nearby and the sands of Afandou Beach lay stretched out before you. The Golf Club itself is ope year round with low admission fees, though many packages will already include this. Golf clubs and balls, caddies, caddy carts and instructors are available also.
