Just a few kilometres away from Rhodes town is Kavourakia beach. It’s not a huge beach, maybe 500 meters in length, but it is never crowded and has some of the most crystal clear waters in all of the island. By the beach you can rent bikes or a car if you want your own transport. There are plenty of tavernas, shops and bars close by. The water is calm and the beach is perfect for families with kids.

The beach itself is small pebbles and sand. There is plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds to rent. Because the beach is well organised, there are loads of opportunities to try different waters sports too. Accommodation around the area is plentiful, and the are some great hotels right on the beach.
