Kiotari beach is one of the newer purpose built resorts on the island. There are plenty of luxury hotels, a few well-run restaurants and tavernas and come great little beach bars. There is not really a village or community here. There is a big shopping centre where you can pick up practically everything you need and of course there is the all star attraction of Kiotari is the fantastic beach. It's a long beach, with sand on one end and pebbles on the other. There are sunbeds and umbrellas available, as well as sun loungers , showers and changing huts too.

Kiotari has grown up over the last ten years along a very impressive beach, but has it has not suffered from the tourist saturation that has affected many of the other beach resorts of Greece. Most of the people that come here are families or couples looking for a quiet getaway that is far removed from the party beaches.

The place hardly ever gets crowded, even when the local people show up at the weekends. And as for the sea here, the calm waters keep both the swimmers and those after water sports happy.
