This is one of the best kept secrets on all of Rhodes. Most of the locals don’t even know about this place. Accessible only by boat, kokkini ammos beach it is near to Agathi beach. It is hidden away and there are no trails that get to it, hence you will have a very private beach with no tavernas, sun beds or parasols. It’s not a big beach, but chances are that if you venture here that you will only have to share it with a few other people, if anyone at all.

 

It depends what time of the year you go. The beach is fronted by a large cliff with wild lands behind it. The beach itself is sand, and if you plan to go you should arrange with a boatman to either drop you off and pick you up later or just stay for the day.

 

Make a deal so that they get paid after pinking you up if you arrange the former, because getting out of here isn’t easy. If you want to get away from it all, you can’t find a better place.
