Ongoing coordinated actions of the Directorate of Tourism of South Aegean Region for meaningful and effective promotion of Rhodes island & Dodecanese Islands, abroad. After German and Russian journalists, visiting the Dodecanese, journalists of National Geographic Traveler invited by the South Aegean Region, visited the islands of Rhodes, Kos, Leros, Halki, in order through a specially organized tour program, to become acquainted with the natural wealth, the important archaeological sites, great beaches, gastronomy, local tradition and the narrow streets of the islands .
The Dodecanese islands will be specially advertised / promoted in the National Geographic Traveler Magazine editions of between August and October 2014! Partners in the Region with a special contribution to the implementation of this action is the travel agency Rhodos Tours Traveland / Rhodes, the company Praxisplus, TRITON hotel in Kos, agency KARIS TRAVEL, or city Culture Organization of Municipality of Leros and the Municipality of Halki.
