This coming July, Mickey Mouse along with his 3500 friends / guests on board, will make a Greek island hopping going around the Aegean sea! That is because U.S Disney Cruise Line has included for Summer Season 2014, Greece in its cruise program. A senior executive member of the Greek National Tourism Organisation, referred to the strategy of the promotion and visibility of the Greek brand name, noting that «Disney has great communicative / influence power», aiming at significant future benefits from the arrival of the Disney Magic Cruise Ship.
On top of the above, the fact that 40% of the ship’s guests on board are American nationality, gives Greece a huge advantage to insert even dipper the U.S.A Market. «Disney Magic» cruise ship will dock in various Greek Islands, except Rhodes Port. We remind that the U.S. cruise company «Disney Cruise Line», consists a subsidiary of «The Walt Disney Company».
It is estimated that the luxury cruise ship will attract the interest of Rhodes Island residents but also tourists, as the vessel has a length of 340 meters, capacity of 128,000 tons,1,250 cabins, able to carry 3,650 people (2,700 passengers and 950 crew members). According to the schedule, Disney Magic will dock in Rhodes Port on the 1st, 10th and 19th of July!
