Very glad to learn and read that Ryanair has decided to fly directly from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) airport to Rhodes International Airport. as of April 2019 and till end of October (season route).
This is a great option for our Italian friends to visit easier and more often Rhodes, but more over for several other EU nationals able to fly with Ryanair till Rome FCO, where they will have the option to switch airplane to Rhodes.
We remind you that earlier this year Ryanair announced that they now give the option your luggage to be transferred to the final destination, when flying with them via a connecting city, with out the hassle of rechecking them*
For example, if you leave in a German / French / Polish / UK / Spanish etc city and you can not fly directly to Rhodes, but you can still fly to Rome FCO, you will have the option to book your ticket to Rhodes, via Rome airport!
Tickets are already on sale, based on Ryanair provided info. Move fast and book yours! Do not forget to book your favorite accommodation in Rhodes as long as rent your car in the best available rates!
