As we are not a magazine or a promotion portal we very rare choose to accommodate within our web pages openings and / or articles for restaurants / cafes / bars / hotels and in general businesses of Rhodes and Dodecanese islands, unless we feel they offer something so good and unique, which is worthy spreading around. We strongly believe that this consists one of those cases.
The first real wine bar of Rhodes, opens its doors today 24th of November with ambitious plans to become a must do for the wine lovers and not only!
Wine Bar 10GR, part of the boutique "Hotel 10" in the Medieval Town of Rhodes, based exclusively on the amazing, unique and always improving Greek vineyards!
With more than one hundred Greek labels of big White / Rose / Red / Sparkling / Desert wines from all over mainland and island Greece, 10GR will seduce you. You will be given the chance to try lots of wines offered by the glass made with International and Greek grape varieties. Do not forget to escort your wine with a few of the delicious, tasteful, unique deli courses offered. The menu is designed in a way so that you can choose among cheese and / or cold cuts plateau, salads, starters, cold plates, deserts which will perfectly match the wine of your choice. All made with 100% Greek ingredients and goods!
10Gr will be operating though out the year and for those not big wine fans, there is always a carefully chosen list of cocktails, brandy, whiskies, vodkas, gins and much more, to go for!
The wine bar, has been built in a way that meets the highest standards of ergonomy, comfort, safety with out loosing its unique and traditional Old Town of Rhodes decoration and design covered with soft lounge, jazz and funky musics. Do not worry if your wine knowledge is limited. Rest assured that the kind and accommodating, professional crew, will guide and assist you to choose properly.
Due to the character and philosophy of this wine bar and hotel, it is planned that from time to time, important visual art exhibitions of Greek Artists, as long as book presentations and more will be hosted. Beginning, made today with Roots II, the painting exhibition of the Rhodian artist, Mrs Irene Vazoukou.
Although open as of early morning, daily, should you wish to enjoy a perfect coffee with a hand made, Greek, healthy and tasteful breakfast, every afternoon / evening, transformed to a beautiful wine bar. Kitchen is open daily 9.00-23.00, whereas last glasses of wine served till after midnight :)
Its important to underline that Hotel 10, offers 10 carefully designed suites, with all of the modern comforts, but at the same time not loosing their Medieval Atmosphere style, each one of them with a unique character and deco, as they are thematic ones (featuring 10 important Greeks became legends with their important and unique social and cultural work, life style and offering to the society. Definitely a Must Stay experience!
