New direct flights between Cardiff / UK and Rhodes, with Thomas Cook, as of May 2019!
Thomas Cook Airlines has recently announced their willing to increase the number of flights from Cardiff airport in Wales /UK to 9 new summer - beach destinations.
We have gladly ready that one of these consists our island, Rhodes!
That said, staring from May 2019, guests will be given the opportunity to fly out to Rhodes, from Cardiff airport.
Flights will be performed with wider body / bigger capacity air crafts, the Airbus A321.
Overall Thomas Cook Airlines will be increasing their capacity by 22%, something that shows clear trust on Cardiff airport, its potential and management.
UK guests living in Wales, are now given the chance to fly directly to our beautiful island, from the comfort of their own regional airport.

I’ve done the Cardiff–Athens–Rhodes hop a couple of times and the transfer alone eats a full day, so a direct option is genuinely appealing. May still feels a bit far off, but it’s good to have a proper summer route on the horizon.
